Carved Wooden Spoons produces handmade wooden utensils. Because our products are handcrafted and often made to order, we ask that you review this policy carefully before placing an order. This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through carvedwoodenspoons.com.
1. General Returns Policy (United States and Non EU Customers)
We accept returns of unused, undamaged items within thirty (30) days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition. Due to the nature of handmade goods, minor variations in color, grain, or shape are not considered defects.
Custom or personalized items are nonreturnable unless defective.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
2. Refunds
Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing time. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
4. European Union – 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by a clear written statement (for example, by email or through our contact page) before the withdrawal period expires.
Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect. Refunds will be issued within fourteen (14) days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
5. Exceptions for EU Customers
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom made or personalized items, or to goods that are clearly personalized, as permitted under EU law.
