Traditional Wooden Cooking Spatula

Sale Price:$30.00 Original Price:$35.00
sale

Classic woodworking can be achieved with experience and attention to detail.  This unique spatula has been handcrafted for your cooking enjoyment.  This spoon design inspiration comes from William Coperthwaite’s book A Handmade Life.  The design is similar to the spoon pictured in the book, but made in my own style.  The spatula measure 12 inches long with a sharp 2-1/2 inch wide serving blade.  Fit so nicely in the hand and is well balanced.  Handcrafted from sustainable domestic hardwood, each spatula has been skillfully hand shaped to showcase the design from the book.  Isn't it time to treat yourself to finely crafted kitchenware?  Every spatula has been carefully made in my small home-based woodworking studio on the coast of Maine.  Because of my unique techniques and process, each spatula is truly one-of-a-kind with variations in wood color, and grain pattern from one piece to the next.  My small artisans mark of authenticity is hand engraved on the underside of each handle.

Each spatula is finely sanded to a satin smooth surface and finished with a durable food safe salad bowl oil.

A wooden utensil makes a great birthday, anniversary, wedding, and housewarming gift.  Giving a handmade spoon is considered a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and love.  Give a wooden spoon to commemorate an occasion, or to wish someone a full and happy life.  Wooden spoons are still a desirable collectable keepsake.
