The "Olga" Mini Spatula made in the Arts and Crafts Style - Made in Maine, USA
Traditional woodworking can be achieved with experience and attention to detail. This Arts and Crafts style mini spatula called the “Olga” has been recreated for your enjoyment. The Olga measures 9-1/4 inches long with a 1-3/4 inch wide rounded blade. Fashioned from a single piece of domestic hard wood, this spatula has been shaped and rounded to show the woods natural beauty. The curves are reminiscent of the Arts and crafts movement. This spatula has contrasting wood inlay on both front and back of handle. Unlike other cooking spatulas you find in chain stores, this spatula was carefully crafted in a home-based wood studio from a skilled craftsman.
Have your custom made kitchen utensil made from your choice of sustainably harvested hardwoods like: cherry, walnut, or maple. Each utensil is finely sanded to a satin smooth surface and can be protected with food-safe oils like, Odie's oil or mineral oil. You may also choose to keep your utensil natural without oil protection.
Food-safe oil, like Odie’s oil, is recommended to help protect the wood while enhancing the look of the wood grain. With proper care, it will last long enough to be passed down generations.
