Spoon Care Guide
My wooden utensils are 100% natural wood and made without grain sealers, toxic chemicals, or other agents that polymerize in the wood. The color of your utensil will naturally darken with use. The wood will also naturally dry with use and care is needed to help preserve the wood. Only hand wash with dish soap and warm water. Never put in a dishwasher, as the drying cycle dehydrates the wood too rapidly and the cleaning agents can age the wood surface prematurely. The grain will rise and will soften with use. If needed, lightly sand and apply food-safe oil to help repeal water and sauces. Food-safe oils helps your utensil last longer! With proper care your utensil will last to be passed down generations.
