Happy New Year 2016! And Back In The Studio

1/5/2016

I hope you all have had a great 2015 and may this coming year be filled with opportunities and peace.  It's been a very hectic year leading up to an even more busier holiday season.  I've been working like Santa's Elves packing and shipping, making and cutting…and checking my orders twice to see who has been naughty and who has been nice…lol.

I've had a major retail expansion in 2015 that was very surprising and my retail programs for 2016 are sure to flip my brand into many kitchens across the country.  I've listened to my customers and will be offering a few new designs for 2016 that are lighter and smaller.  I'll also be introducing a new retail display that will hold 50 to 100 assorted utensils, all affinity branded, utensils…more on this when they come out this year.

My studio is up for another expansion, but I'm trying to resist because it takes me away from making spoons.  This expansion will allow me to offer year long courses in 2016…keep your fingers crossed.  I'm still working on the course work.  I want anyone to come to my studio and learn what I do.  I was totally expecting to have spoon making classes in 2015, but got too busy with America's Test Kitchen and a several other larger retail orders that I wasn't able to offer the classes.  My classes will cover from the beginner to the very advanced.  If your interested in taking a class contact me.

The only thing I've recently done, to keep my woodworking skills up, was add a new cabinet to my workbench(picture below).  Nothing fancy, but it keeps my tools clean and stored.
