It’s been a challenge to design, make, and promote a new kitchen utensil each month. I’ve had such a positive reaction for this new program that it’s given me the motivation to design more unique utensils that will be enjoyed by so many for years to come. The designs, I hope, will capture the taste of good food, the feeling of cooking with friends and family, and remind you of those things that make your life rich.
The month of April carries with it Spring time, the Easter season, and the hope of warmer summer weather. I’ve found that I use the Tablespoon a lot in the kitchen, and with that, it brings the hope of baking something wonderful. So, I thought Spring time is the best time to launch a new Tablespoon design. It will become the go to measuring spoon in your kitchen.
ABOUT THIS TABLESPOON:
This new Tablespoon gives you a longer reaching handle to dive into taller flour jars or taller loose leaf tea bags. At 9-inches long the curved thumb rest makes it easy to level off measurements and the flat top it makes leveling off with a knife fast! It has proven itself in my test kitchen and I'm proud to offer to my customers in a choice of four different woods. There’s a lot of work that goes into making a utensil, and this Tablespoon is no exception. There’s more precession and fine work in carving out the bowl then with any other spoon. This design is a mix of my thin cooking spoon handle design crossed with my tablespoon set bowl design. These two designs form a tablespoon that will be enjoyed for years to come.
